We have already recommended it! Good sized room (515). Modern bright decor. Excellent breakfasts. Courteous, obliging staff.
Useful luggage store.
Top Tip
Cafe Rouge in the city (and others close by). Several cafes aroud Albert Dock. Good museums close to hand. We visited both cathedrals and the Walker Art Gallery on foot.

Checkin for all guest was 2.30pm this caused a large backlog and delay . Keys for rooms were not registerd , coausing many trips back to reception .Smoking area at the front of the hotel was very of putting ,as we do not smoke and those guest that did were sitting on the steps, not what you would expect from the standard of Hotel . They bedrooms were very nice and staff were helpfull especialy the staff at Breakfast .

Very nice hotel, well situated for the city. Very friendly and helpfull staff.
Taxi's available right outside hotel, so again very handy. We had a very nice stay. The breakfast was very good and plenty of it.
We would definately stay here again.
Top Tip
The Cavern Club is just 5 minutes away, good restaurants and shopping right on the doorstep.
The Echo Arena, where we went for X. Factor is 5 mins away by Taxi. Its just so handy for everything.

We needed a city centre hotel in Liverpool for a mini-break. We were going to a concert at the Echo Arena so it needed to be within easy reach and near to the shops / restaurants etc.
We found the location ideal - at the bottom of James St, near the entrance to the Underground station. It may not look much from the outside with a small entrance but it's pleasantly styled inside and our room was spotlessly clean. Good facilities in the room, layout and design. We were very pleased and will definitely consider using the hotel again for a stay in Liverpool. Good value too for B&B.
Gave "Facilities" a 4 simply for those that may be looking for more things like a spa, pool or gym etc - the hotel doesn't have those sort of things. It wasn't a problem for us as it was just an overnight stay and we weren't looking for those sort of facilities.
